We here at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer
(LCR) are a people of hope ... pursuing ways, by the grace of God, to
help people shine!
We seek to reclaim the apostolic vision of
the early church - a vision that released an army of healers,
passionately touching a hurting, dying planet with the power of resurrection!
We embrace the Scriptures, the Holy Bible,
as God's living Word, dynamic and spirit breathed, and so we
refuse to compromise that truth and its relevance for our day-to-day
lives.
Even so we also offer no condemnation
for those God places in our path but instead seek to be quick and eager
to express and exhibit the reckless compassion of Christ Jesus himself.
We have seen evidence of the Holy Spirit moving
in power in our midst, bring healing and wholesomeness and
setting hearts on fire for God. Those who've known condemnation and
shame are finding a new beginning in Jesus Christ. We long to see more
of the same.
We're fully engaged in expanding God's kingdom
through lives transformed and renewed in faith, hope, love ... through
worship, service and small group ministries.
We're discovering that when we allow the Holy Spirit to soften our hearts
and impassion us anew it rekindles our first love - our love of God,
and through it, our love for one another.
That's who we are and why we're here.
In this we trust that God intends to make of us an unstoppable force!
That's what we're about!
Come, check out what God is doing in the hearts
and minds of his people.
